Tropic Isles is a resident-owned community for residents aged 55 and over, occupying approximately 60 acres directly on Terra Ceia Bay. The community comprises roughly two and a half miles of waterfront homes and three enclosed harbors.
Amenities include a marina with boat ramp, fuel service, and bait shop, dry storage, a heated swimming pool and spa, shuffleboard courts, a library, and community rooms supporting an active social calendar. Golf carts are permitted throughout the community.
Ownership
Tropic Isles is organized as a cooperative. A purchaser acquires a share in Tropic Isles Co-Op together with the residence rather than a deeded lot. Conventional mortgage financing is generally unavailable on cooperative shares, and most transactions in this community are completed with cash or through a share loan obtained from a specialty lender.
